Alfonso Anaya
Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship

Alfonso Anaya is a faculty member at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB), where he teaches entrepreneurship. He has also taught courses in strategic management and finance. With a diverse background spanning banking, lending, taxation, engineering, and education, Alfonso brings a wealth of real-world experience into the classroom. Alfonso earned his MBA with an emphasis in entrepreneurship from CSUSB in 2013 and holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Southern California. Before transitioning into academia, he worked as a software engineer at Raytheon Technologies.
He is the co-founder of Kids That Code, Inc., an EdTech company dedicated to teaching STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) education to children in grades 2–9. The company was born from an idea developed in the classroom at CSUSB and continues to inspire young minds today.
Passionate about student success, Alfonso is committed to helping students navigate their academic and professional journeys, identifying challenges, and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset. His mission is to equip the next generation of innovators with the skills and confidence to turn ideas into reality.
